How we check lender directory information
Last updated:
What we check
Our directory rates and terms come from each lender's own website. We record the advertised rates, points, loan types, coverage and other available terms. A listing is not a lender endorsement, a licensing check or a loan offer.
How often we check
We check lender sites about every 48 hours. When we find a real change to an advertised term, we update the directory. Available source links and last-checked dates appear on lender profiles.
What happens when information is missing
If a lender stops publishing a field, or its site fails to load, we leave the existing field unchanged. A last-checked date does not mean every field was refreshed on that date. A blank or dash means information was not available, not that the lender does not offer it.
Advertised terms versus your offer
Actual terms depend on the deal and lender underwriting. Confirm current programs, rates, points, fees, leverage and conditions directly with the lender. Term sheets are not loan commitments.
